Emergency - Bomb Threat

In the event that any Municipal Courthouse employee should receive a Bomb Threat over the Phone, the employee should:

1. Try and remain as calm as possible.

2. Try and keep the caller on the line as long as possible.

3. Be courteous.  Pretend difficulty in hearing.

4. After the caller hangs up, hang up your phone and note the time, date, and approximate length of the call.

5. Call Court Security at ext. 645-8990 and report the call.

6. As best you can, complete the attached Bomb Threat Checklist.
