Emergency - E.M.S. Procedure

In case of a medical emergency E.M.S. personnel need to be contacted and provided necessary information to expedite their response to the location of the person in need of assistance.

A.     In the event of a medical emergency:

1. Call Court Security at ext. 645-8990.

2. Give the location of the emergency.

3. Give any available information that may assist E. M. S. personnel.

4. Do not move the ill or injured person. Try and make them as comfortable as possible.

B.      If Courthouse employees call 911 direct for assistance, it is imperative that the Security Control Room be notified at ext. 645-8990 so that security personnel can meet and direct E.M.S. personnel to the person in need.
