Emergency - Reporting a Fire

If you discover a fire in progress and the Fire Alarm System has not yet been activated, follow these steps:

  1. Contact Court Security immediately at ext. 645-8990. All fires regardless of size or nature are to be reported to Court Security.

    1. If you are unable to reach a phone, pull the nearest fire alarm box.

  2. DO NOT attempt to extinguish the fire yourself unless to do so poses no risk to you or others.

  3. If possible, close all doors in the immediate area.

  4. Be prepared to evacuate the area or building if the order is issued.
